Our employment services staff has decades of experience in assessing the needs and abilities of clients and placing them in jobs in Washington and Clackamas counties. Edwards Center offers full and part-time job opportunities.
Clients can work at Edwards Enterprises, our packaging and assembly business, where they earn paychecks by working on projects subcontracted from local businesses. Job coaching is offered to help them learn skills necessary for a successful match. Monthly paychecks build self-esteem, social contacts and independence.
Edwards Center can offer clients assistance in finding jobs outside of Edwards Enterprises. Job coaching and travel training to the business location is available. Some clients choose to work a few days a week at our business and also have a job in the community. Enclaves—groups of workers with an Edwards Center staff—travel to businesses that request more than one worker. Current enclaves include Tualatin Valley Park and Recreation/Jenkins Estate and Anthro Corporation. |
