Gift Planning
Gift Planning is a process in which individuals decide to give strategically to Edwards Center or other charities on a one-time or ongoing basis.
You can prepare or amend your will or living trust, naming Edwards Center. You can consider changing a portion of the beneficiary designations on your retirement plans, insurance policies and tax deferred annuities, or you can give an unneeded life insurance policy or purchase a new one to help Edwards Center continue our commitment to excellence forever. Donate Now. Edwards Center relies on for programs and services not covered by our government funding. Edwards Center invests 91 cents of every dollar collected to support its clients and programs.

Examples of how you can help:
Programs Focusing on the Quality of Life.
- $35 covers a month of pottery materials and supplies at Milwaukie
- $45 buys 45 minutes of music therapy at our Milwaukie locations
- $50 will purchase art supplies for a month at our Aloha location
- $75 will cover weekly program activities and outings in our ATE program
- $100 will cover a month of martial arts classes
- $500 pays fo an overnight trip to the beach (gas, staff, food)
- $1000 will purchase one year consultation from a nutritionist
Maintenance Our Homes are In Your Hands
•$100 pays to have the carpet cleaned at most locations
•$250 pays for a month of professional landscaping services at our homes
•$750 pays for new carpeting and installation in a 12'x12' room
Appliances Used Everyday
•$450 buys a freezer
•$1,000 buys a new front loading-energy effient washer and dryer - Some homes do 30 loads of laundry a week!
Transportation Safety and Recreation
•$5,000 buys a van for employment and social needs
